Barbat is a small place on the island of Rab, rich with agricultural treasures such as olives and vines. This is the first place you will encounter on the island, after you have left the ferry. Barbat is recognizable by its beautiful pebble beaches, a rich fishing tradition and quality restaurants. Antiques enthusiasts are recommended to visit the St. Damjan hill, where they can see the ruins which have occupied the imagination of numerous curious researchers. It was only recently established that these ruins are the remaining parts of several early Byzantine forts from the first half of the 6th century. Those in search of active sports can enjoy volleyball, basketball, tennis, football, cycling, walking, running, fishing, diving and numerous water sports. The island of Rab is special because of its wonderful sea, fertile fields, vineyards, olive groves and natural wealth of healing plants. Like any other Dalmatian town, Rab also organizes numerous festivities during the summer months, some of which are : Rab “fjera” (summer fair based on the historical heritage), Rab archery (tournament since 1364, restarted in 1995), the Rab music nights, folklore performances, the Rab art summer  (exhibitions organized almost throughout the year) and countless other manifestations. If you would like to savor the specialties of the island of Rab, and the town of Barbat, visit the restaurants “Leut”, “Elizabeta” and “Barbat”.

Novalja is the tourist center of Pag island. Its main attraction are its sandy and pebble beaches. There is a wide range of dishes offered in its numerous restaurants. On the beaches of Novalja you can enjoy a wide variety of sports activities and partying till the dawn. The best known beaches in the Novalja region are : Zrće (one of the most attractive and most beautiful beaches in Novalja; this beach holds three night clubs and many small cafes for day and night entertainment), Casca, Planjska, Straško, Sveti Duh and Ručica.
Rijeka is a port city which is also the center of Primorje-Gorski Kotar county. The symbol of this city is the Morcic – a type of jewelry worn by seafarers to protect them from danger at sea. Visit the many historical monuments which are evidence of the city’s turbulent past: Municipija palace, church of St. Jerome, university library, museum of modern and contemporary art, governor’s palace, maritime and historical museum of the Croatian coast, Rijeka city museum, natural museum, judiciary palace, church of St. Vitus, old gate, Komuna palace, city walls, Adam’s residence, Modello palace, Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, city tower, Jadran palace, church of Kapucin and various others.
Opatija is a destination with the longest tradition of tourism in Croatia. The city’s parks, seaside promenade, tidy swimming areas, fountains and numerous aged villas are the reason that tourists return to Opatija year after year. Visit the following cultural monuments of this city: church of St. Jacob, parish Church of the Annunciation, evangelical church, church of St. Anne, parish church of St. Mark, park Angiolina, park St. Jakob, Lungomare, villa Angiolina and numerous other monuments which stand as evidence of Opatija’s longstanding tradition of tourism.

      Best location in barbat because of the garden of the house and the beach is 3m away. Everything was perfect.
