Lopud is a town situated on the north-western part of the eponymous island. The locals are involved in agriculture and fishing. The island is located between Kolocep and Sipan and belongs to the Elaphite group of islands. It has two bays: Lopud bay and Sunj. The Sunj beach, located in the bay of the same name, is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Adriatic. The beach is ideal for families with children, its beauty is concentrated in the sandy shallow water which extends for about hundred meters from the shore and it is favored among the locals and countless tourists. Sandy beaches, rich subtropical vegetation, beautiful promenades and landscapes offer a pleasant stay.
